About OpenStrategy MISSION / COMPANY

Building the underwriting layer for a new strategy universe.

OpenStrategy is building the evidence and underwriting layer that turns observable onchain activity into structured institutional research. Visibility is not the same as trust, investability, or practical institutional usability.

Research · Underwriting · Governed intelligence

Institutional confidence must be earned through evidence.

Visible performance is a starting point, not a conclusion. Serious research requires a governed framework for quality, risk, capacity, robustness, implementation feasibility, and change over time.

01 / EVIDENCE

Evidence before narrative

Official records and deterministic calculations remain authoritative. Every conclusion should be traceable to its source, assumptions, and review state.

02 / QUALITY

Performance needs context

Return quality, drawdown control, leverage discipline, concentration, capacity, dependencies, and monitorability matter alongside headline returns.

03 / GOVERNANCE

Conclusions stay distinct

OSIQ 30 inclusion, an O.P.E.N. Profile, a Strategy Passport assessment status and Implementation Readiness answer different questions and require different levels of evidence and review.

The market is validated. The intelligence layer is not.

Capital already follows externally operated trading strategies. Funds of funds and investment consultants have established that institutions pay for manager selection, diligence, and ongoing oversight. Onchain vaults now make strategy activity and capital allocation directly observable.

THE MISSING LAYER

From visible performance to an allocation-ready decision.

What remains underdeveloped is the institutional intelligence layer between observable performance and an allocation-ready decision.

OpenStrategy is building that layer through structured evidence, strategy underwriting, mandate-fit analysis, and continuous monitoring for onchain strategies.

PUBLIC PROOF

OSIQ 30 and Research

OSIQ 30 is a public research benchmark observing externally operated strategies. OpenStrategy evaluates their public records; it does not operate, execute or allocate to the strategies.

UNDERWRITING

Profiles and Passports

O.P.E.N. Profiles provide the concise analytical view. Strategy Passports preserve the complete evidence, methods, caveats and human-reviewed assessment status.

INSTITUTIONAL USE

From evidence to decision

Custom diligence, implementation-readiness work, and Agent Intelligence help institutional teams interrogate evidence without transferring final allocation authority.

Founder, OpenStrategy

Teo Jun Hao is the founder of OpenStrategy. He has spent more than a decade across trading, wealth management, venture investing, fintech, AI products and onchain market infrastructure. His career began in FX execution and wealth management before moving into venture investment. He later evaluated AI, Web3 and deep-technology companies at COL Web and Decacorn Capital, and held senior product and operating roles across AI, blockchain and agentic trading ventures.

Across these roles, Teo has worked on product direction, investment analysis, commercialization and the design of AI-native and agentic systems. He has helped take an AI and blockchain venture from early product development through large-scale ecosystem growth, more than US$10 million in fundraising and a public token-market launch, including US$3 million personally closed through direct investor pitches.

He founded OpenStrategy around one institutional problem: visible onchain performance is not sufficient for serious research, underwriting or capital allocation. Institutions also need evidence on return quality, risk, capacity, robustness, implementation feasibility and changes in strategy behaviour over time. OpenStrategy is being built to provide that intelligence layer.

“Performance can be visible onchain without being institutionally usable. OpenStrategy exists to close that gap.”

Commercial relationships do not determine research conclusions.

No paid Index inclusion. No guaranteed assessment. No silent historical revisions. Human review, conflict disclosure, and corrections governance are operating requirements.

01 / SEPARATION

Commercial separation

Partner, client, and operator relationships remain separate from Index selection, assessment, monitoring status, and editorial conclusions.

02 / DISCLOSURE

Conflicts visible

Operator-paid research, product-partner relationships, and material conflicts require explicit treatment and disclosure.

03 / CORRECTION

Record preserved

Corrections, methodology versions, right of response, and historical-data revisions belong in a visible record.
