OSIQ 30 · PUBLIC RESEARCH BENCHMARK
OpenStrategy Institutional Quality Index.
In digital assets, most institutions hunting for alpha can still do exactly one thing: hold the majors or trade them. The alpha sits one layer up, in the strategies, and that layer has no institutional on-ramp. OSIQ 30 is the live public proof of the method: a daily record since 1 July 2026, losses published the same day as gains. Proof of the method, not a product.
OSIQ 30 is a public research benchmark observing externally operated strategies. OpenStrategy evaluates their public records; it does not operate, execute or allocate to the strategies.
Index record
A clear record from 1 July 2026.
OSIQ 30 began at 100.00 on 1 July 2026. Each timestamped daily observation is published only after the scheduled evidence capture and canonical verification succeed.
74 published daily observations. This remains a short public record. Return and drawdown figures should be interpreted with the full methodology, observation basis and limitations.

About these observations
Perpetual positions across Hyperliquid and discovered builder DEXs. Wallet labels show only the first three characters, including 0x, and the last four. Entry is the source position’s average entry price. Recent activity records changes between complete observations, not individual executions; trades between observations may be missed. Monitoring gaps are not treated as closes. This near-live data is separate from the final daily Index record and is not an investment recommendation or executable signal.
Index contribution status: 29 of 30 constituents currently contributing. 1 suspended under the published eligibility rules. For suspended constituents, return exclusion begins with the next interval until governed reselection, as described in the methodology.
Historical record
Index level and published-observation drawdown.
The record begins at 100.00 on 1 Jul 2026 and reaches 127.76 at the latest scheduled snapshot observation.

Data note: Aggregate figures are derived from official selected-strategy activity evidence using a flow-adjusted, time-weighted constituent method. Snapshot captured 12 Sept 2026 · 00:05 UTC; scheduled observation for 12 Sept 2026. Constituent identities are not published.
Research cohort
Thirty selected strategies, one governed cohort.
The public page focuses on the quality dimensions represented by the cohort rather than publishing a repetitive anonymised register. Aggregate cohort status and governed exceptions are published in the record above.
Strategy archetypes
Behavioural groupings are reviewed across directional, relative-value, market-neutral and specialist approaches.
Risk states
Drawdown, leverage, concentration and liquidation sensitivity remain part of ongoing eligibility review.
Evidence confidence
Provenance, completeness, recency and known gaps determine how strongly a record can support further research.
Venue dependency
Execution venue, market structure and operational dependencies are treated as material characteristics.
Concentration bands
Position, asset and return-driver concentration are examined alongside headline performance.
Review governance
Eligibility is monitored daily, with event-driven review and governed reconstitution when required.
Public boundary: OSIQ 30 publishes aggregate benchmark intelligence. Full wallet addresses and underlying research evidence remain private. Current positions use shortened wallet labels.
O.P.E.N. Framework
Institutional quality, organised through O.P.E.N.
O.P.E.N. is the public communication framework OpenStrategy uses to explain the evidence behind strategy quality. It does not replace the published selection methodology or imply that Index inclusion is an O.P.E.N. Profile, human-reviewed Strategy Passport assessment or conclusion of investability.
Onchain Evidence
Identity, provenance, history, completeness, recency and whether material change can be monitored.
Performance Quality
Returns after considering flows, leverage, concentration, one-off effects and persistence across market conditions.
Exposure Discipline
Drawdown, leverage, concentration, liquidation sensitivity and current portfolio risk.
Non-Fragility
Whether performance persists across time, positions and regimes, or depends on one trade, event or market condition.
Separate implementation question: Capacity, liquidity, access and execution determine whether an observed strategy may be usable at a particular size. They remain part of deeper diligence and are not collapsed into the O.P.E.N. Profile.
Assessment boundary
Index inclusion is the start of diligence.
| Object | Question answered | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| OSIQ 30 inclusion | Did the strategy pass the public research selection framework? | O.P.E.N. Profile, recommendation, access or investability |
| O.P.E.N. Profile | What does the four-dimension analysis reveal? | Human-reviewed approval, access or investability |
| Strategy Passport assessment status | What governed conclusion follows deeper evidence review? | Credit rating, guarantee or investment recommendation |
| Implementation Readiness | Is practical use feasible for a defined workflow and size? | A final client allocation decision |
Every Strategy Passport begins with an O.P.E.N. Profile and ends with a human-reviewed assessment status.
Methodology and governance

Direct answers
Common questions.
Is OSIQ 30 investable?
No. It is currently a public research benchmark. Any investable mandate would require separate legal, operational, access, execution, custody, capacity, and governance design.
Does inclusion mean institutional approval?
No. Index inclusion does not constitute an O.P.E.N. Profile, human-reviewed Strategy Passport assessment, investment recommendation, institutional approval or conclusion that a strategy is accessible or investable.
When did the Index begin?
OSIQ 30 has a stated research inception of 1 July 2026 with a base level of 100.00.
How often is the Index updated?
One observation is published daily after the scheduled selected-strategy capture and canonical verification succeed. Failed verification stops publication; later corrections are visibly recorded.
Version and revision log
- 25 Aug 2026
- Corrected the 25 August 2026 OSIQ 30 observation after an unmeasurable source-history PnL revision was treated as investment return. The equal-weight level was restated from 5473.64066249 to 115.83573727 using the same scheduled source capture; the affected constituent is frozen at its last measurable unit NAV.
- 17 Jul 2026
- Connected the public level, return, drawdown, charts, history, JSON and CSV to the canonical daily publication feed. Replaced the anonymised register with aggregate cohort intelligence.
- 1 Jul 2026
- OSIQ 30 research inception at base level 100.00.
