Key takeaways

  • OSIQ 30 tracks quality characteristics, not simply the highest historical return.
  • Index inclusion means a strategy passed the public research selection framework and warrants deeper review.
  • The Index has a stated research inception of 1 July 2026 at a base level of 100.00.
  • The latest available level is 110.95 for 29 Jul 2026. The source snapshot was captured 29 Jul 2026 · 00:05 UTC.
  • Each scheduled daily observation becomes Final after the canonical verification succeeds.

Visible wallet performance is not the same as institutional-quality strategy evidence.

Public onchain records make trading activity unusually observable. They also make it easy to confuse raw PnL, leaderboard position, or a strong historical window with a strategy an institution can responsibly review.

OSIQ 30 creates a consistent public cohort selected through a quality framework. Its purpose is to test and demonstrate repeatable research, evidence, construction, and monitoring practices around emerging strategies. The strongest proof at this stage is not a short return number. It is a defined method, a dated Index record, and visible governance.

Institutional quality is a set of observable research characteristics.

O.P.E.N. is the public communication framework OpenStrategy uses to explain Onchain Evidence, Performance Quality, Exposure Discipline and Non-Fragility. It does not replace the published selection methodology or imply that Index inclusion is an O.P.E.N. Profile, human-reviewed Strategy Passport assessment or conclusion of investability.

The Index is not asking only, “Which strategies made the most?”

It is asking which observable records merit structured investigation after accounting for how performance was produced, what could impair it, and how confidently the evidence can be interpreted.

Index inclusion is one eligibility decision inside a larger underwriting system.

Every Strategy Passport begins with an O.P.E.N. Profile and ends with a human-reviewed assessment status.

OSIQ 30 is presented as one continuous public research benchmark from its stated inception. Levels are calculated from official selected-wallet activity evidence using a flow-adjusted, time-weighted constituent method.

Figure 1. OSIQ 30 record convention. One timestamped daily observation is published after canonical verification succeeds.

The exact timestamp preserves the evidence boundary for each scheduled publication. A daily observation becomes Final after the selected-strategy capture and canonical verification complete successfully. A failed verification stops publication; material later corrections are dated and recorded under the corrections policy.

The first useful facts are operational, not promotional.

  • The research cohort contains 30 selected onchain strategies.
  • The public record describes aggregate strategy styles, risk states, evidence confidence, venue dependency, concentration bands, and review governance without publishing constituent identities.
  • Equal weight is the headline construction; score weighting is contextual only.
  • The record is too short to support a stable realised-volatility claim.
  • Eligibility is monitored daily and reconstitution is event-driven, human-governed, and forward-effective.

These facts establish what is being tracked and how it is governed. They do not establish external capacity, copyability, operator access, or institutional mandate fit for any individual constituent.

What this note relies on.

The aggregate record uses official selected-wallet activity evidence and a flow-adjusted, time-weighted constituent method. Hyperliquid’s official Info endpoint documents the account-value and PnL portfolio histories used as source fields; OpenStrategy’s calculations, identity controls, alignment rules, and quality interpretation are its own research methodology. The public record uses one scheduled daily capture after 00:05 UTC. Positive inferred deposits enter capital at risk; withdrawals do not reduce the denominator retroactively; constituent returns are chain-linked across aligned official portfolio points.

Material limitations include the short operating record, incomplete proof of copyability and capacity, venue and execution dependencies, data-timing differences, evidence gaps, and strategy drift. Constituent identities and cloneable selection thresholds are not published.
